MedUS Cloud Viewer app for iPhone and iPad

The MedUS Cloud Viewer™ delivers mobile access to the medical information stored in a PACS Storage Services account wherever and whenever suitable connectivity is available.

The MedUS Cloud Viewer™ securely and automatically connects to the PACS Storage Services account. It is an extension of the PACS Storage Services server and cannot operate as a stand alone viewer.
After authentication, the MedUS Cloud Viewer™ opens a list of the different studies and images deposited in the PACS Storage Services account by their owner. After selecting a medical study, the viewer displays the images.

The MedUS Cloud Viewer™ is capable of displaying images from all imaging modalities (CT, MRI, PET, US, etc.).
The MedUS Cloud Viewer™ includes a set of interactive image manipulation tools such as zoom and pan through the multipoint touch screen interface. It supports grayscale and color images.

Requirements and limitations
-Wireless communication between the iOS device and the PACS Storage Services server: through Wi-Fi communication with a Web enabled LAN; or using the 3G or 4G network of your cell phone provider
-Reasonable bandwidth between the iOS device and the PACS Storage Services server. One Megabit per second or more is recommended
-Adherence to the security and confidentiality rules mandated by HIPAA for protected medical information
-An existing account with PACS Storage Services is a prerequisite to use the app. The app can only be used to view information previously stored in the account by the account owner. It cannot be used to upload or manage content of the account, or to create an account.
